CLASSIC ROUTE CENTRAL ATOLLS
Classic route 7 nights
This program is given as an indication only and may be subject to change depending on the weather, currents and people’s requests.
Day 1 - Arrival at Male International Airport
where you will be welcomed by one of our staff members who will transfer you to the boat. After settling in we leave Male and sail to a lagoon where you can test the temperature of the water with a dip in the ocean or simply rest and relax from your flight. At the end of the afternoon we will present you with the program for the week as well as introduce our crew members.
Day 2 - Velassaru Caves / Guraïdhoo
First dives to discover what the Maldivian ocean has to offer underwater. Our night will be spent in the lagoon of Guraïdhoo village. Possibility to visit the village in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Guraidhoo / Alimatha
Cross over to Vavuu Atoll. Overnight in Alimatha where we will complete a night dive.
Day 4 - Myaru Kandu / Dangheti / Broken Rock
After the morning dive to the south of Ari Atoll where we will dive on the splendid thilas. Possibility of a visit to a village at the end of the afternoon for those wishing to discover a little more about the Maldivian way of life.
Day 5 - Kudara / Mamigili / Rangali
On the way to the south of the atoll we will go in search of the whale shark! We may also discover during our dives small fish like the Leaf fish and also the Ghosts Pipe Fish. The last dive of the day will be done on amanta cleaning station. Anticipated night in the lagoon of Radiga.
Day 6 - Blue Caves / Fish Head / Rasdhoo
We continue onwards towards the north of the atoll where we will have the possibility to see gray reef and white tip sharks before finishing in the famous pass of Rasdhoo. Possibility of a village visit in the evening.
Day 7 - Rasdhoo / Nassimo / Malé
After the morning dive we will return to North Male Atoll for our last dive. A visit to the capital Male will be arranged in the afternoon accompanied by your guides. Night in Faru lagoon.
Day 8 - Male
After breakfast boat transfer to the airport or to Male if your departure is in the evening.
Departure of the boat scheduled after breakfast between 8am and 8.30am.
Classic route 10 to 14 nights

Day 1 - Arrival at Male International Airport

Day 2 - Velassaru Caves / Guraïdhoo
First dives to discover what the Maldivian ocean has to offer underwater. Our night will be spent in the lagoon of Guraïdhoo village. Possibility to visit the village in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Guraidhoo / Alimatha
Morning dive in the pass of Guraïdhoo before heading to Vavuu Atoll where we will dive Myaru Kandu in the afternoon. Overnight near Alimatha Island for our night dive.
Day 4 - Alimatha / Fotheyo
This day allows us to discover the magnificent reefs of Golden Wall and Fotheyo with its magnificent yellow soft corals. Night next to a small sandbank.
Day 5 - Fotheyo / Rakedhoo / Ambara
An early morning dive in the blue in the pass of Fotheyo trying to spot hammerhead sharks and other pelagic species. We will then dive on the corner of the pass of the village of Rakedhoo before spending the night near the island of Ambara.
Day 6 - Ambara / Dangheti / Broken Rock
After the morning dive we will head towards the south of Ari Atoll where we will dive on there splendid thilas. Possibility to visit a village at the end of the afternoon.
Day 7 - Kudara / Mamigili / Rangali
Today we will go in search of the whale shark! We may also discover during our dives small sea life such as nudi branches, leaf fish and Ghosts Pipe Fish. The last dive of the day will be done on a manta cleaning station. Anticipated night in the lagoon of Radiga.
Day 8 - Rangali/Panettone/Radiga
Day 9 - Blue Caves / Fish Head / Mayafushi
We continue northwards where we can observe gray sharks and white tips on the different thilas. Possibility of a night dive.
Day 10 - Hafza / Bathalaa / Rasdhoo
We leave Ari Atoll and reach the small atoll of Rashoo, famous for it’s pass.
Day 11 - Rasdhoo / Himmafushi
After the morning dive we return to North Male Atoll where we
Will do our afternoon dive on the beautiful Okobe thila or HP Reef.
Day 12 - Last dives
We will do our last two dives in the morning to give us time to desaturate before taking the plane the next day. In the late afternoon we will visit the capital Male and spend the night in Faru lagoon.
Day 13 - Male: Airport Transfer
Departure after breakfast to the airport for your return flight.
Departure of the boat scheduled after breakfast between 8am and 8.30am.
